Project codenamed "Torch"
For a commercial, a company needed to create its logo in 3D. Transforming a 2D image into a 3D object in the physical world was an interesting challenge. But we handled it, and it turned out to be great prop for advertising.
Stage 1. Modeling
The task was not only to print the logo, but also to reproduce the colors and their placement as accurately as possible. We developed a multi-part 3D model and selected the appropriate plastic colors for 3D printing.
Stage 2. Printing and gluing
All parts were printed and glued using filaments that closely matched the original ones.
Stage 3. Final result
