This was one of our most difficult orders, if not the most difficult. And without a doubt, the most interesting.
A client from the USA asked us to manufacture 5 art objects for an exhibition. Printing exclusively with photopolymer resin. More than 80 liters of resin and VERY many hours spent on gluing, sanding, and puttying.
And now, a bit more detail:

1. Dividing the model into parts
Each model was first divided into parts in a CAD program. In the case of the largest model, into more than 30 parts. In the photo below you can see only a small part of them. It looked something like this:

2. Then came the time for gluing
We had to put this mosaic together. Glue all the pieces together, and then hide the seams. Which, we must admit, we did very well. Each seam was individually filled with resin and sanded.
3. The effect? Impressive, both in scale and in precision of execution.
4. Packaging
Packaging such complex and fragile items took a lot of time, but everything arrived intact and in good condition.
5. Now we just have to wait for the final photos from the client. We are very curious to see how it will look at the exhibition. To be continued...
